Is there no 'Undo' button in Photoshop...

Hello again, and thank you for your time.

So far I'm only finding 2 choices:

1. Edit%26gt;Undo (for a single undo action)

2. Ctrl+Z (for multiple undo actions)

I'm not a fan of searching the keyboard for short cuts if I can just

click on the screen. (Ctrl+Z=pain in the *** for me)

Is there a button available?

A 'back' or 'undo' button?

I bet CS4 has one . . .?should have waited for CS4 . . .

Thanks again for the help,

Brad

No, PS does not offer buttons for such a thing. But since you are such a mouse fan, maybe you have one that has programmable custom buttons. That would be a solution, too....

Open your 'History' panel/palette and then you have a clickable way to undo.

Customizable mouse:?good thinking. I'll check my Wacom tablet for options as well.

Clicking through History:?yes. Forgot about that. That is actually a feature of Photoshop I really liked.

Thank you both.

I will stick to the 'History' panel on this (until I upgrade to C$4)

You can use CTRL + ALT + Z to step backwards through your current history and CTRL + SHIFT + Z to step forward. Not sure what the maximum number of steps is, probably the same as your number of history states as specified in your prefs.

Pssst!

He doesn't like the keyboard!?
